It is resistant to various chemicals and mild acids, has excellent adhesion properties, and requires minimal maintenance. Rubcoat VP is used for gas-tight and vapor-tight sealing of walls and ceilings in mushroom cultivation rooms and climate chambers.

The product should only be applied at temperatures above 5°C and with a surface moisture content of less than 15%. Porous substrates should be pretreated with Rubcoat primer WD, which has a drying time of 1-3 hours. Smooth substrates should be pretreated with Rubcoat primer KS, with a drying time of 3-6 hours. Rubcoat VP should be applied in at least two layers with a total consumption of 2 kg/m². Joints and expansion joints should be reinforced with Rubcoat polyester fleece.
