Rubcoat VPX is a solvent-free, elastic sealant that remains permanently elastic and temperature-resistant after curing. It is resistant to ammonia, various acids, and chemicals. Rubcoat VPX provides excellent adhesion, is highly elastic, and requires minimal maintenance. It is used for gas-tight and vapor-tight sealing of walls and ceilings in compost tunnels.

The product should only be applied at temperatures above 5°C and with a surface moisture content of less than 15%. Smooth substrates must be pretreated with Rubcoat Primer KS, which has a drying time of 3-6 hours. Rubcoat VPX should be applied in at least two layers with a total consumption of 2 kg/m². Joints and expansion joints must be reinforced with Rubcoat polyester fleece.
